A few alternate versions of some of the images I used in my final double page spread, mostly colour variations that I saved when I was trying to find the best combinations. 

My final double page spread of images for the group zine project. Looking at medical gender bias, juxtaposing the ways in which women's concerns are downplayed with statistics about the negative effects gender bias has on women's health. Made by editing copies of some of my physical work in photoshop.

Some experiments with collage and painting, playing with aesthetics inspired by some of the artists I've looked at previously, and continuing with the idea of representing medical alienation through visual distortion. Collage + acrylic paint and one acrylic painting on canvas. 

 Some experiments with embroiding onto floral fabric scraps and canvas, inspired by Louise Bourgeois' sketches and textile work surrounding contours of the body.
